(L.A.) Steven Cadena, 38, Died at an Off-Ramp

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Latino male that occurred at an off-ramp.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Steven Cadena.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Diabetes Mellitus, Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP STEVEN CADENA (February 5, 1986 – July 21, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 10:22 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early December, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the meth.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
