(L.A.) Steven Anderson, 48, Ended His Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Steven Anderson.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Diphenhydramine, Sertraline and Fluoxetine

Other Significant Conditions: Idiopathic Cardiomyopathy Chronic Alcoholism, History of Depression

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 5:31 p.m.

Sertraline (Zoloft) and fluoxetine (Prozac) are prescription antidepressant medications that carry an FDA black box warning for increased risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviors.
