(L.A.) Stephen Jeppsen, 52, Died at a Private Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Stephen Jeppsen.

STATUS: The decedent’s body has been released. Ruling by the deputy medical examiner is deferred pending additional investigation.

Manner and cause of death will be added to this page when it becomes available.

If the DME has ordered toxicological screening, the next public update may take six to nine months.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 6:45 p.m.

The government investigator had initially identified the decedent as Steve Hurns.
