(L.A.) John Orozco, 36, Died From Meth Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as John Orozco.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Effects

Other Significant Condition: Idiopathic Epilepsy

RIP JOHN OROZCO (July 15, 1988 – October 28, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 1:35 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 13, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
