Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Stephanie Swink.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Multiorgan Failure

Cause of Death B: Cardiac Arrest, Resuscitated

Cause of Death C: Ventricular Fibrillation

Cause of Death D: Cocaine Effects

Other Significant Conditions: Diabetes Mellitus, Congestive Heart Failure, Atrial Fibrillation, Urinary Tract Infection

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
