(L.A.) Feliciano Curiel Martinez, 36, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Feliciano Curiel Martinez.

Height 5 feet 5 inches / Weight: 190 pounds

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wounds of the Torso

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday.

The decedent was shot at a McDonald’s drive-thru in East Hollywood.

Witnesses say the altercation began after a minor car collision.

LAPD said the suspect, 21-year-old Humberto Delgado, called police on himself and was booked for felony voluntary manslaughter. He’s out on $100,000 bail.

If convicted of voluntary manslaughter, Delgado faces a term of up to 11 years in a state prison. However, the charge will likely be dropped because it was a justifiable homicide, with the decedent having been the one who initiated physical violence.
