Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old Hispanic female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Sophia Hernandez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP SOPHIA HERNANDEZ (March 6, 1967 – August 12, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:54 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 22, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
