(L.A.) Sonny Provencio, 24, Died in Baldwin Park

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old Latino male in Baldwin Park.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Sonny Provencio.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 2:23 a.m.

The decedent was fatally injured by multiple vehicles on a freeway connector road in Baldwin Park.

California Highway Patrol officers were called at 2:09 a.m. to the transition road from the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway to the northbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway, where they found the man in the first and second lanes of the connector road.

Baldwin Park is a city in the central San Gabriel Valley region of L.A. County.
