Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Shemekia Hall.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Diabetic Ketoacidosis

RIP SHEMEKIA HALL (November 10, 1975 – February 25, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 5:08 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 18.
