Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 69-year-old Asian female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Shari Pheng.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Asphyxia

Cause of Death B: Drowning

Other Significant Conditions: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease; Medical History of Diabetes and Throat Cancer

RIP SHARI PHENG (March 24, 1955 – February 15, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 6:15 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 23.
