(L.A.) Sergio Bermudez, 38, Died in an Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Latino male that occurred in an alley in Echo Park.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Sergio Bermudez.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Neck

RIP SERGIO BERMUDEZ (November 20, 1984 – September 8, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 10:50 p.m.

The decedent was fatally shot in Echo Park.

LAPD officers were called to the intersection of Douglas and Toluca streets, where they found Bermudez suffering from gunshot wound(s).
