Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Sedrick Pickens.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP SEDRICK PICKENS (August 6, 1960 – March 20, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:20 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late June, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
