(L.A.) Scott Woeckel, 49, Ended His Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Scott Woeckel of Hollywood, California.
Brown hair. Blue eyes. Height: 5 feet 10 inches. Weight: 160 pounds
Manner of Death: Suicide
Cause of Death: Hanging
RIP SCOTT ALAN WOECKEL (March 22, 1974 – September 9, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 1:07 p.m.
The decedent was a manager of audiovisual production and information systems at Pepperdine University School of Law. He was arrested by Glendale PD on August 12 for a felony. The charge was 288.4(B) – Arranging a Meeting with a Child for Lewd Purposes. His bail was set at 100,000 dollars and he was released on bond on August 13.
He got arrested for trying to date underage kids. After his arrest at the Glendale Galleria he committed suicide.
The Scott I know is a great guy and this is hard to believe and very sad.
