Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Scott Fernandez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Injuries

RIP SCOTT FERNANDEZ (January 9, 1975 – June 24, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 1:15 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 21, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
