Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as Sarah Olivas.

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Methamphetamine Effects
RIP SARAH OLIVAS (August 29, 1986 – August 5, 2025)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.
This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
