(L.A.) Sarah Burich, 54, Died in a Driveway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a driveway.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Sarah Burich.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Methamphetamine and Ethanol

Other Significant Conditions: Hepatitis C, Alcoholism, Diabetes Mellitus, Cirrhosis, Thrombocytopenia, Tobacco Use, Hypertension, Depression, Mitral Valve Prolapse, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

RIP SARAH BURICH (June 26, 1970 – July 24, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 2:41 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 24, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
