(L.A.) Santiago Calderon Vazquez, 38, Died in a Canal

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Latino male that occurred in a canal.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Santiago Calderon Vazquez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Asphyxia

Cause of Death B: Drowning

RIP SANTIAGO CALDERON VAZQUEZ (September 28, 1985 – February 19, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:09 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 6.
