(L.A.) Sanjeewa Nawaratne, 49, Died in a Parking Lot

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old male that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Sanjeewa Nawaratne and listed his race/ethnicity as Black [sic].

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Coronary Artery Disease

RIP SANJEEWA NAWARATNE (July 14, 1975 – December 20, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:59 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 3, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.

We do not know if the decedent was injected with synthetic mRNA. He appears to have been South Asian, likely Sri Lankan.
