RIP SANG-IN KIM (October 16, 1950 – April 9, 2006)

Before killing himself, the decedent shot members of his family, murdering his wife and eight-year-old son, and seriously injuring his 16-year-old daughter.

Sang-in Kim immigrated to L.A. in 1990. He ran a motel, then went into real estate.

This was one of three infamous cases during a one-week period in April 2006 when three separate Korean-American families in Southern California suffered murder-suicides.
