Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Black female that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Sakeenah Simpson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

RIP SAKEENAH SIMPSON (November 6, 1976 – August 4, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 2:06 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 9, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the meth.
