(L.A.) Rudy Herrera Gonzalez, 49, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Latino male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Rudy Herrera Gonzalez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 20, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
