(L.A.) Ruben Ibarra, 26, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Ruben Ibarra.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: Cocaine Effects

RIP RUBEN IBARRA (April 6, 1999 – May 4, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 8:51 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 24, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
