Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk in Encino.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ronnie Turner.
Manner of Death: Natural
Cause of Death: Complications of Metastatic Colon Carcinoma
Other Significant Condition: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 9:24 a.m.
Ronnie was the youngest son of singer Tina Turner. He played bass guitar in a band called Manufactured Funk with songwriter and musician Patrick Moten, as well as both of his parents’ bands.
Ronnie made a name for himself starring alongside his mom in the 1993 biopic What’s Love Got To Do With It.
Through him, Tina Turner is the mother-in-law of French singer Afida Turner.
He was the only son of Ike Turner and Tina Turner. Craig Turner was his half brother.
