Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 67-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ronald Scott.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Cocaine Toxicity

RIP RONALD SCOTT (September 6, 1957 – March 30, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 2:30 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 31.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
