(L.A.) Ronald Henry, 79, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 79-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ronald Henry.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Effects of Cocaine, Cerebral Atrophy, History of Chronic Alcoholism

RIP RONALD HENRY (January 14, 1946 – March 4, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 1:38 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 1, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
