(L.A.) Ronald Carlson, 58, Died on a Metrolink Platform

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a Metrolink platform.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ronald Carlson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Alcohol Effects

RIP RONALD CARLSON (January 8, 1966 – September 6, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 2:24 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 4, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
