(L.A.) Roger Ayala, 21, Died From a Polydrug OD

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 21-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the young man as Roger Ayala.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Acetyl Fentanyl, and Methamphetamine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 7:04 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in late March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, polydrug overdose.
