(L.A.) Rodrigo Solis, 39, Died at a Freeway On-Ramp

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old Latino male that occurred at a freeway on-ramp.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Rodrigo Solis.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 2:55 a.m.

One person was killed when a vehicle left a Downtown Los Angeles roadway and landed upside down onto the 101 Freeway below.

Los Angeles police and California Highway Patrol officers along with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a traffic collision around 2:19 a.m. Sunday, where a vehicle came off North Broadway, through a fence, and landed on the 101 Freeway.

Once officers and firefighters arrived on scene, they located the vehicle upside down on the freeway. At least one person was reportedly found trapped inside the vehicle and one was pronounced deceased at the scene.
