(L.A.) Ricky Smithson, 69, Died in an Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 69-year-old Caucasian male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ricky Smithson.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP RICKY SMITHSON (October 18, 1953 – March 6, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 5:07 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 26, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for substances.
