(L.A.) Richard Volgardsen, 65, Died at an Encampment

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at an encampment.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Richard Volgardsen.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity
RIP RICHARD VOLGARDSEN (December 28, 1957 – December 2, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 7:28 a.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 15, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.
