RIP RICHARD ALFONSO MEDINA (August 7, 1982 – July 27, 2025)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in mid-September.
Focally severe coronary atherosclerosis is a condition where certain small spots in the arteries that supply blood to the heart become seriously narrowed or blocked. This happens because fatty substances, cholesterol, and other materials build up inside the artery walls, forming something called plaque. Over time, the plaque gets bigger and makes it harder for blood to flow through those parts of the artery. Focally severe means that the problem is not spread out evenly in the arteries but happens in specific parts where the plaque buildup is much worse.
