(L.A.) Ricardo Valdez, 57, Ended His Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old Latino male that occurred in a wash.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ricardo Valdez.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Blunt Force Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.

One adult male plummeted approximately 50 feet from a bridge down to the bottom of a dry riverbed, where he was found to be deceased.

Firefighters remain on scene to assist any needs for LAPD and the Medical Examiner, who will be taking over the scene. LAPD Inc # 1933.
