(L.A.) Renita Fobbs, 57, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Renita Fobbs.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Hypertensive and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Cocaine

RIP RENITA FOBBS (July 20, 1966 – July 23, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 3:35 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 6, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the coke.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
