(L.A.) Rene Cerda, 52, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old male of Latin American ethnicity that occurred at a residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Rene Cerda.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine
Other Significant Condition: History of Seizures
RIP RENE CERDA (March 23, 1970 – March 4, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 5:07 p.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 10, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug. This is considered an accidental overdose.
