(L.A.) Rayfield Wright, 49, Ended His Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Rayfield Wright.

Height: 5 feet 8 inches / Weight: 215 pounds

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Hanging

RIP RAYFIELD PAUL WRIGHT (October 23, 1976 – May 1, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made early Friday morning.

The decedent had just been arrested on April 30, late Thursday night, by Pasadena PD based on a felony allegation made by a spouse / cohabitant. He posted bond at 2:25 a.m. on Friday.

He did not appear to have any prior criminal history in California, not even a DUI.
