(L.A.) Raul Castaneda, 50, Died in Irwindale

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old Latino male that occurred on a road.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Raul Castaneda of San Gabriel.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 8:44 p.m.

While riding his bicycle near Arrow Highway and Rivergrade Road by the Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, the decedent was fatally hit by a vehicle that had been stolen from a Toyota dealership in El Monte.
