(L.A.) Randy Spears, 59, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 59-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Randy Spears.

Manner of Death : Natural

Cause of Death : Hypertensive and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions : Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Morbid Obesity, Depression

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

In June, the Department of Medical Examiner withdrew their initial conclusion that this was a natural death. Case status is now deferred.
