(L.A.) Randall Miod, 55, Died in the Palisades Fire

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence in Malibu.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Randall Miod.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Inhalation of Products of Combustion and Thermal Injuries

RIP RANDALL MIOD (November 1, 1969 – January 9, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 12:30 a.m.

The decedent perished in the Palisades Fire. His remains were found in the 20900 block of the Pacific Coast Highway. For over a month, the Department of Medical Examiner referred to him as Unidentified Doe #19.
