(L.A.) Ramiro Melendez Gonzalez, 40, Ended His Life

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Latino male that occurred on railroad tracks.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ramiro Melendez Gonzalez.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt-Force Injuries

RIP RAMIRO MELENDEZ GONZALEZ (April 15, 1984 – April 9, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 11:15 a.m.

LAFD sent a bulletin out about a fatality in North Hollywood at 11:12 a.m.

Incident location was 7005 North Tujunga Avenue.

“One patient (age/gender unknown at this time) struck by a Metrolink train is sadly beyond medical help and determined deceased on scene. There are 33 persons on board the train with no injuries.”
