(L.A.) Ralph Harris, 86, Died Under EMS Care

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 86-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred during emergency medical service.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Ralph Harris.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Cocaine Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:11 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 26, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Imagine dying from cocaine and fentanyl at the ripe old age of 86.
