Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred on a street in North Hollywood.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Peter Arata.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Blunt Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:36 p.m.
The decedent was in a wheelchair when he was fatally struck by a vehicle going south on Lankershim Boulevard near Strathern Street.
The collision occurred outside a facility operated by LA Family Housing, a nonprofit agency that provides housing and services for homeless people. It is still not known if the man was homeless.
