(L.A.) Pedro Escarate, 61, Died at an Embankment

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old Latino male that occurred at an embankment.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Pedro Escarate.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Myocardial Ischemia

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP PEDRO ESCARATE (October 22, 1963 – October 28, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:09 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-March, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
