(L.A.) Paul Hicks, 32, Died From Hard Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Latino male that occurred in a parking lot.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Paul Hicks.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Viscaina.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: Methamphetamine Effects

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 3:02 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on August 22, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
