Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Black female that occurred at a private residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Patrice McDaniel.
Manner of Death: Natural
Cause of Death A: Pulmonary Thromboembolism
Cause of Death B: Deep Vein Thrombosis of Lower Extremities
RIP PATRICE MCDANIEL (March 8, 1980 – December 27, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 12:12 p.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 15, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for substances.
