(L.A.) Oscar Guerrero Ramirez, 46, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Oscar Guerrero Ramirez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Methamphetamine and Ethanol

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 4:48 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on April 23, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
