Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 73-year-old Black male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Oscar Ferrell Jr.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP OSCAR FERRELL JR. (February 3, 1950 – October 3, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 12:18 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 16, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for substances.
