(L.A.) Onesimo Maldonado Flores, 88, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 88-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Onesimo Maldonado Flores.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday night.

The decedent was run down by a hit-and-run driver in the South Park East neighborhood, east of the Harbor (110) Freeway.

LAPD heard about the incident at at 7:35 p.m. It happened in the area of Avalon Boulevard and 49th Street.

Note that the government investigator had initially given the decedent’s name as Flores Onesimo Maldonao.
