Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 85-year-old Asian female who passed away at her residence.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Ok Kim.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Hypertensive and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Valvular Heart Disease

RIP OK KIM (October 17, 1938 – February 29, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 2:05 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 16.
