Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Latino male that occurred in a tent.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Noel Castro.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP NOEL CASTRO (September 22, 1982 – June 21, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 4:20 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in early August, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
