Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 39-year-old White female that occurred by a bus stop.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as Nicole Koschak. Born in Alameda County. Mother’s maiden name is Schratter.
Height: 5 feet 3 inches / Weight: 115 pounds
Manner of Death: Suicide
Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Trauma
RIP NICOLE JESSICA KOSCHAK (August 13, 1986 – May 15, 2026)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday afternoon at a bus stop.
The decedent crawled under a stopped bus in Santa Monica at around 2:00 p.m. She was crushed under the wheels as the vehicle pulled away from the bus stop.
This happened by the intersection of Main Street and Ocean Park Boulevard near the Santa Monica Pier.
She was transient and had just been arrested by La Quinta PD in Riverside County on April 24 for petty theft.
She read her poetry at the L.A. School of Comedy on March 27, 2026.
